Marc Almond - Marc Almond To Host Marc Bolan Tribute Concert

The concert, which will take place in London in September (12), is intended as a celebration of the life of the T. Rex frontman 35 years after his death.

Acts set to take to the stage at the event include the Sex Pistols, Boy George, Alvin Stardust and Rick Wakeman.

On his hosting spot, Almond tells Britain's Daily Express newspaper, "It's a privilege to be asked to be part of something so special. Marc was an amazing artist and person. It will be fantastic night to commemorate Marc and T.Rex."

The gig at the O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire is scheduled for 15 September (12).
