The new Superman movie Man Of Steel has rocketed past the $200 million (£129 million) mark at the global box office in just four days.
Thanks to a Father's Day (16Jun13) boost, which saw cinemas across America packed with film fans, director Zack Snyder's new action movie opened with a revised $128.7 million (£83 million) U.S. take, making it the biggest June opening of all time.
Man of Steel, which stars Henry Cavill as Superman/Clark Kent, opened to $71.6 million (£46 million) outside of America in 24 international territories.
