Queen-of-Pop Madonna is set to make up to $500 million in 2012 from her world tour, new fragrance, clothing and lingerie line.
According to Live Nation, the 'Material Girl' hitmaker will make $300 million from her Mdna world tour including $240M from ticket sales and a further $40M from the added South America and Australia shows. This is not to mention the $75M she's thought to approximately make in tour merchandise and $10M in Dvd and TV rights for its broadcasting. Madonna's recent MACy's exclusive perfume, 'Truth or Dare' is estimated to make $60M according to 'Women's Wear Daily'. The fragrance was launched at MACy's Herald Square in April; 300 of the perfume kits (which included two sprays, a lotion, a T-shirt, the deluxe edition of the Mdna album plus a Blu-Ray copy of the 'Truth or Dare' documentary, all worth $151) were presold but buyers were not allowed to get them signed or get a photo with the 53-year-old pop star and instead were gathered into a tent for a brief press conference.
Insiders reveal Madonna also earned $10M from her recent Smirnoff vodka deal where a 'Madonna' edition of the bottle was designed. Retail experts estimate a further $5M will be made from the release of her 'Material Girl' clothing line and MACy's lingerie line.
