Instagram has become the photo sister to Facebook and Twitter. Where people post statuses and tweets about their day on the latter two networks, Instagram is the site of cute animals (#catsofinstagram) and food photos (#foodstagram). Judging by those two components of Instagram it is evidently pretty tame and Madonna, according to its administrators, is just too sexy for it.
As Madonna herself reports, posting the letter onto her Instagram, she received a letter from the app complaining about her photos, telling her that she has violated their rules. "It has come to our attention that your account on Instagram has violated our Community Guidelines..." it began. "In short, we ask that you; don't share photos that aren't yours... don't show photos that show nudity or mature content, don't share photos of illegal content [and] don't share photos that attack an individual or group."
They didn't identify which photos or what content that Madonna has so offended them by, but judging by her recent raunchy pics she's not paying too much attention. To be fair to her, over the age of 50 and still looking that good, she should be able to post what she likes. We wonder whether Rihanna got similar mail after her 'green' valentines post...
