Madagascar 3 Animals To Liven Up Cannes

Madagascar 3 Europe's Most Wanted is wanted at the Cannes Film Festival. The DreamWorks Animation film is being given its world premiere at the festival in May, out of competition, although a specific date was not included in the announcement. The film is due for release in the U.S. on June 8. It is only the second film announced for the festival, which is due to open with West Anderson's Moonrise Kingdom. A scene in the latest Madagascar is set at the famed casino in neighboring Monte Carlo. The Cannes Film Festival, which is about glamour and commerce as much as it is about art, will likely see the film's voice actors on its red carpet. They include Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, Jessica Chastain, Jada Pinkett Smith, and David Schwimmer.
