Mad Men Finale: Has Don Draper Returned To His Old Ways?

The fifth season of AMC's 'Mad Men' ended on a cliff-hanger of sorts on Sunday evening's finale, with Jon Hamm's Don Draper getting sucked into his bad old ways (June 10, 2012). After dropping of his wife Megan (Jessica Pare) on the set of a television commercial, Draper headed straight for the nearest bar.

There he was approached by an attractive blonde who asked him for a light, before telling him her friend wanted to know if he was alone. As Don turned his head towards the woman in question, the episode ended. The fifth season of the award winning show has seen Draper remain almost unusually faithful to his new wife, though that could all change come the sixth season. Elsewhere during the finale, the Sterling Cooper Draper agency celebrated a rosy economic future, while Pete Campbell got beaten up for a third time this season. Earlier in the episode, Don had visited the dentist where he began hallucinating on laughing gas about one of the people who knows that he is really DICk Whitman. Audiences also caught up with Peggy, played by Elisabeth Moss, who appears to have adopted Don's style of management at her new agency. The former copywriter was seen barking at her employees, before being asked to pitch for a high profile account.

It also looks as though the sixth season of the show will be set somewhere entirely different, with Christina Hendricks' Joan showing the other four partners around their new office space in Manhattan.
