Maclaine And Dukakis Reunite For Crime Comedy
01 March 2007The feature film, based on true events, revolves around two con-artist women who befriend and murder homeless men in order to collect their life insurance policies.
British filmmaker ASH BARON COHEN, a cousin of BORAT star Sacha Baron Cohen, has signed on to direct.
The script was inspired by real news events and crime scandals surrounding recent arrests and convictions of elderly women for various "grandma gang" exploits, which have included scams and cons involving drug sales, insurance fraud and murder.
The film will begin shooting in May (07) in Los Angeles or New Mexico.
