Mackie Building His Own Bar
Actor Anthony Mackie can soon add bar owner to his resume - he's building his own drinking establishment near his home in Brooklyn, New York.
The Hurt Locker star was inspired to enter the construction business after struggling to find a local pub to watch the weekly American football games - so he decided to build his own.
He tells the New York Daily News, "I wanted a place in my neighbourhood where I could have a beer... I'm not going to (U.S. chain restaurant and bar) Applebee's to watch the football game, how dare you?!
"So now I'm getting my construction fetish on during the day, and at night I'm making movies."
