Macauley Culkin - Macaulay Culkin Duets With Adam Green At Tiny Bristol Venue [Video]
Gig-goers in Bristol were initially confused when a scruffy looking Macauley Culkin arrived on-stage.
Gig-goers at Adam Green's tiny show in Bristol this week probably weren't expecting a Hollywood duet. Imagine their surprise then when the little kid from Home Alone jumped up on-stage and launched into a cover of Beach Boys hit Kokomo. According to the Sun, the audience were initially dumfounded when a "scruffy fella" arrived on-stage, before realising it was Macaulay Culkin.
Green, best known for being one half of Moldy Peaches, was billed to be performing songs from his new record with Binki Shapiro, though the singer fell ill shortly before the show and was unable to take the stage. Instead of cancelling, the seasoned Adam Green ploughed on and brought on Culkin for his encore tune. "I've come all the way from America," the actor said.
Sporting a high ponytail and shades, the American star - now a DJ - appeared nervous at first, though his confidence grew later in the song, while Green danced around on-stage. In recent years, American tabloids have reported furiously on the actor's apparent addiction problems, though Culkin has never commented on the stories.
His last movie performance came in the 2007 romantic-comedy 'Sex and Breakfast', with Kuno Becker and Eliza Dushku. It followed the story of two couples who take a stab at handling their relationship problems through psychologist-prescribed partner-swapping.
