Macaulay Culkin - Macaulay Culkin £4,000 Per Month Drug Habit Denied
A spokesperson for Macaulay Culkin has strenuously denied recent reports that he has a £4,000 a month drug habit. According to MailOnline, the Home Alone star's spokesperson has slammed the reports, which surfaced in the National Enquirer. His publicist, Ms Bega told MailOnline "The report in the National Enquirer that Macaulay Culkin is addicted to heroin and assorted hallucinogenics is not only categorically without merit, but it is also impossibly and ridiculously fictitious."
Earlier this year, photos were taken of Macaulay, showing him looking gaunt and seriously unwell, prompting concern over his well-being. A source had reportedly told the National Enquirer "Macaulay Culkin is hooked on drugs and it's killing him. He's been hooked for a year and a half, and his drug of choice is either heroin or oxycodone. Mac is surrounding himself with junkies and lowlifes. It's a real tragedy." Bega's denial of the claims continued: "The report is not only categorically without merit, but it is also impossibly and ridiculously fictitious. We beseech the responsible media to consider the source and its reputation and to please not perpetuate this destructive and insulting story by pursuing it any further."
Macaulay Culkin rose to fame as a child actor, in Home Alone and its sequel, Home Alone: Lost in New York. He also starred in Uncle Buck and My Girl but as an adult (he is now 31 years old), his acting career has faltered. The last movie of significance that he was in was Party Monster, in 2003. He now makes a living Dj-ing in New York.
