Lynch Holds Ghoulish Exhibition
02 March 2007Called Air Is On Fire, the display, featuring items which date back to the 61-year-old's school days, goes on show at the Cartier Foundation and focuses on the unsettling themes of his movies Blue Velvet and Eraserhead.
Exhibition curator HELENE KELMACHTER referred to the images as "disturbing", however Lynch told reporters he was "very happy" with the work and that "so much of this is ideas that have nothing to do with an intellectual thing. It's an intuitive journey."
The exhibition runs until 27 May (07).
