Lulu - Lulu Comforted Barry Gibb After Brother's Death

The Shout hitmaker, who was married to Robin's twin Maurice for four years early in her career, contacted Barry the moment she heard Robin had lost his battle with cancer last month (May12).

The pair talked about their memories of Robin and the closeness between the two families - and Lulu is adamant the tragedy has made her re-evaluate her attitude towards life.

She tells Britain's Hello! magazine, "As soon as I heard the news, I called Barry in Florida. He never picks up the phone, but he answered straight away. I think he was anticipating lots of calls. We had this long, sweet conversation full of reminiscences, a real trip down memory lane.

"We talked about how much love there is between the Gibbs and me and my family... Now Robin has gone, it makes you realise that you should live each day to the full."
