Luhrmann Wheelchair-bound?

Aussie moviemaker Baz Luhrmann has truly suffered for his art - his latest film has put him in a wheelchair.
The Moulin Rouge! director has been hobbling around on crutches for the past two weeks after injuring his foot on the set of new film Australia, and now he's finishing the project from a wheelchair.
Luhrmann has been forced to keep working because his new film, starring Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman, is behind schedule.
But his publicist, Maria Farmer, insists shots of him being helped into a wheelchair by his wife Catherine Martin aren't what they seem.
She says, "That was just a bit of fun. He's still got a bit of a sore foot."

I would like to point out that as a "wheelchair user" I am offended by the use of language here. I am not "bound" to my wheelchair, believe it or not I actually sleep in a bed like most people.I would also like to point out that it wasn't very smart to say that using a wheelchair was just a bit of fun, as the reality for most wheelchair users is that due to the barriers that society place in disabled people's way using a wheelchair is not always fun.
