Rapper Ludacris raised $30,000 (£18,750) for good causes on Sunday (02Sep12) by staging his annual charity basketball game.
The star led a team at the annual LudaDay Celebrity Basketball Game in Atlanta, Georgia, while actor Kevin Hart took charge of the opposing side.
Hart romped to victory with a final score of 103, to Ludacris' 100 - but the rapper is just delighted with the total money raised.
In a post on his Twitter.com page, he writes, "It's a charity weekend. So I let (Hart) win. Lol (lough out loud). Congrats (sic) my brother. We raised over 30k for the hood!!! Score 103-100."
Hart refused to let his pal forget about his loss though, adding on the site, "I kicked Ludacris (sic) a** today... Team Hart. Luda's Team stinks. I'm a winner... I'm taking my team to Disney World!!!!"
However, Ludacris, who turns 35 next week (11Sep12), was given some good news after the game had finished - officials in the city dedicated the day to the rapper, who is donating the money raised from the match to local charities.
He told his followers, "Breaking news! The city of Atlanta just made Sept 2nd officially 'Luda Day'! That is the best bday (sic) present I've ever received."
