Lucy Benjamin preferred rats over crocodile feet in 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!"

The ex-'EastEnders' star said she was so hungry she was forced to eat rodent when she was chosen to enter the basic Exile Camp on the show, but it wasn't the worst of the Jungle delicacies she endured on the show.

Lucy - who became the first celebrity to be voted off the show on Monday (23.11.09) - said: "In exile the first thing we encountered were two or three rats, which didn't fill me with joy. We actually went on to eat a rat. We were starving hungry and had to survive.

"You joke about people cooking rat in bad restaurants at home, but I didn't think it would actually happen in there. Who eats rat? To be honest, it was actually nicer than the crocodile feet. If I had to choose between the two, I'd go for rat over crocodile feet every time."

She added that the first thing she ate after leaving camp was a steak sandwich. Lucy also said the food wasn't the only bad thing about the celebrity camp.

Lucy, 39, said to website DigitalSpy: "The toilet is disgusting in there. It's like the worst public lavatory that hasn't been cleaned in 100 years. And someone would wee on the seat!"
