Lucas Signs Star Trio To New War Film

The trio join an ensemble including hip-hop star Method Man and singers Ne-Yo and Jazmine Sullivan for Red Tails, a World War II action-adventure about the Tuskegee Airmen - America's first black military pilots.

Actors Nate Parker, David Oyelowo, Tristan Wilds, Lee Tergesen, Elijah Kelley, Andre Royo and Jesse Williams will also star in the movie, reports Variety.

Star Wars guru Lucas, who co-created the film, will also serve as executive producer. Anthony Hemingway will direct.

Filming is scheduled to begin in Europe later this month (Apr09).
