Louis Walsh Slams Cheryl Cole's Singing Talent As War Of Words Escalates
Having already been widely reported as stating that the pair's friendship was over, he's now unleashed a few verbal pipe bombs of his own in an interview with Heat. Accusing her of spending more time selling products than working on her singing career, Walsh said "What is she peddling this time? Eyelashes or hair spray? It's definitely not her music," before raging "At least I am still on The X Factor and happy to be there. I'm a much better manager than she is a singer."
"She seems to be in the fashion business now, selling fake hair pieces, fake eyelashes, fake everything," he continued, before going on to slag off the star's voice. "Has anyone ever heard her sing live or a cappella?" He asked, "If she comes back on The X Factor, she needs to sing live this time. I don't know why she's started this war with me. I've always liked her - she's a very good-looking girl, but obviously not the best singer in Girls Aloud. Nadine (Coyle) is. I always said that." Finishing his rant, the Irish music manager said "Cheryl is a great clothes horse. Nice girl, but likes to get her own way. I've got two words to say: vocal lessons," and adding "When I write my book, I'll tell the real story of Cheryl." We wearily await Cole's reply.| Comment on this article |
