London Calling For The Beach Boys' 50th Anniversary Jaunt
The line-up on this tour will be as complete as possible, given the deaths of Wilson's brothers Dennis and Carl in 1983 and 1998 respectively. Fellow founding members Mike Love and Al Jardine will both be in the party, whilst Bruce Johnstone and David Marks, who've been associated with the band for decades, will also be appearing. The group's comeback is no nostalgia fest either, with a new album,' 'That's Why God Made Radio' in shops next week.
The group are currently touring their homeland of the US, and will be going to Canada too. From there, they'll travel to Europe, Japan and Singapore - a substantial jaunt for the ageing stars. The excitement for it has been massive however, with many eager to here classics like 'Surfin' Usa' and 'Good Vibrations' performed again by Wilson, Love and Jardine in particular.
