Lloyd Webber Musical Suffers A Setback
Rehearsals for SIR Andrew Lloyd Webber's latest Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat revival have suffered a setback after two cast members were crushed by moving scenery.
The unfortunate actors suffered foot injuries when part of the set dropped on them during a practice.
A source says, "There is a lot of mechanical scenery and the cast have to get out of the way. But two people didn't move quickly enough and had their feet crushed by a mechanical staircase. Everyone was really shocked."
The show, whose star Lee Mead was cast on TV talent show Any Dream Will Do, has its preview on Friday (06Jul07) at London's Adelphi Theatre.
