Linkin Park Become First Billion Band On Youtube

Rockers Linkin Park have made history after becoming the first band to boast more than one billion hits on YouTube.com.

The group's videos, live performance clips and interview footage have helped the hitmakers gain access to the exclusive club, which already counts Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Justin Bieber as members.

Gaga was the first to break the billion hits mark on YouTube in 2010.

Over one tenth of all the hits Linkin Park notched up are linked to the video of New Divide, the band's theme from Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen.
