Lindsay Lohan - Lindsay Lohan's Car Crash: Was She Driving Or Not?
Lindsay Lohan reportedly lied to police by telling them she was not driving the Porsche that smashed into a truck on the Pacific Coast Highway on Friday (June 8, 2012), according to law enforcement sources who spoke with Tmz.com. As a result, Lohan could be prosecuted and her probation may be revoked.
Sources say that while Lindsay was in hospital getting checked over, cops from the Santa Monica Police Department paid her a visit to determine the reasons for the crash. The actress told police she was merely a passenger in the sports-car, and that her assistant was driving. However, she and the assistant had clearly failed to get their stories straight, and gave contradictory accounts. Insiders say police are currrently in the process of writing up a report that will include Lohan providing false information, and could trigger a probation violation in her shoplifting case and the possibility of jail on two separate fronts. Several eyewitnesses say both Lindsay and her assistant both got out of the car on the passenger side. Her lawyer Shawn Holley was spotted rushing to the hospital to get there before police officers, but arrived too late.
In the meantime, Lindsay has returned to the set of her forthcoming Lifetime movie 'Liz and DICk' and has appeared "look, calm and collected".
