Lindsay Lohan - Lindsay Lohan And Porn Star Land Leads In Ellis Thriller

The actress is taking on the lead role in the American Psycho author's upcoming thriller The Canyons, and she'll have an unconventional co-star in porn sensation Deen.

Ellis heaped praise on the Mean Girls star when he announced the casting to followers on his Twitter.com page on Monday (11Jun12).

In a series of posts, he wrote, "James Deen and Lindsay Lohan will star in The Canyons. And I am beyond thrilled that James Deen and Lindsay Lohan will be playing the parts of Christian and Tara in The Canyons... Could not have dreamed of a better cast. Lindsay nailed it..."

Ellis previously revealed that he had 26-year-old Deen in mind when he wrote his screenplay about "five twenty-somethings' quest for power, love, sex and success in 2012 Hollywood".

Raging Bull moviemaker Paul Schrader will direct when production begins next month (Jul12).

Lohan is currently shooting her official comeback movie, TV project Liz & DICk, in Los Angeles.
