Lindsay Lohan And Charlie Sheen To Be 'World's Hottest Couple' In Scary Movie 5

Lindsay Lohan and Charlie Sheen will star as ''the world's hottest new couple'' in 'Scary Movie 5'.

The brunette beauty and the former 'Two and a Half Men' actor - whose character Tom Logan was killed off in 'Scary Movie 4' - will see their alter-egos get together in the fifth instalment of the spoof horror franchise before being killed off in the movie's opening sequence.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Dimension Films describes the characters as the ''world's hottest new couple'' and their roles in the forthcoming film come as part of a tradition which has seen a celebrity playing a new character in the franchise before being disposed of early on in an over-the-top way.

'Baywatch' beauty Pamela Anderson, basketball legend Shaquille O'Neal and talk show host Dr. Phil - whose real name is Phil Mcgraw - have all portrayed characters who have suffered a tragic fate in previous instalments of the series.

Meanwhile, Terry Crews - who is currently starring alongside Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger in 'The Expendables 2' - recently joined the cast of the motion picture, and he will star alongside Ashley Tisdale and Erica Ash.

Malcolm Lee will direct the movie from a script co-written by David Zucker, who wrote and helmed the third and fourth 'Scary Movie' films.
