Pregnant pop star Lily Rose Cooper suffered a health scare during a Christmas shopping trip on Wednesday (21Nov12) when she passed out in a crowded store.
The Smile hitmaker, previously known as Lily Allen, was browsing for gifts at upmarket London department store Harrods with her husband Sam Cooper when she became dizzy and fainted.
Staff and other customers stopped to help revive the stricken star, and after taking time out to recover, Cooper continued her trip buying festive gifts for young relatives.
She later blamed her ordeal on hunger pangs, writing in a post on Twitter.com, "Just fainted in Harrods. Croque-monsieur (toasted ham and cheese sandwich) needed."
Cooper, who already has a daughter called Ethel with her husband, is due to give birth later this year (12).
A spokesman for Harrods refused to comment.
