Lily Blasts 'Arrogant' Radiohead
The Oxford-based outfit gave fans the chance to download the album off the web, allowing them to pay a sum that they felt appropriate for the songs. However, Lily has accused the band of devaluing recorded music.
She claims the chart-topping outfit have damaged the chances of newer groups being able to make a living from their music.
"It's arrogant for them to give their music away for free - they've got millions of pounds. It sends a weird message to younger bands who Haven't done as well," Lily said.
"You don't choose how to pay for eggs. Why should it be different for music?" she added.
RADIOHEAD will release IN RAINBOWS in record shops in December 2007, with the album, the band's sixth, set to be available as a special 'discbox' as well as a conventional CD.
