Lily Allen Reports 'Racist' Soldier To Ministry Of Defence

Lily Allen has found herself at the centre of a Twitter scandal, after a man claiming to be a soldier serving in the British Army sent her an abusive message, which read "just seen you bought sh*t, I mean adopted a child from Africa." The message has since been removed by the man who posted it but has been reported on by NME.com. Lily soon followed up the message by asking for advice on how to report racism via Twitter, saying "how do you report someone on here? That guy I re-tweeted should be banned."

Lily later reported the message to the Ministry of Defence. An Army spokesman said "Racism of any kind is completely unacceptable and the Army has a zero-tolerance approach to all forms of harassment and discrimination. We are aware of the alleged offensive comments and are investigating the matter. It would be inappropriate to comment further while this is ongoing." Since the Army began their investigation, Lily has retweeted a number of further abusive messages that she has received, some of which seem to be from people that know the original message-sender. One such message, from stevenallison4 read "Harry been told the top dogs in the army want him discharged! lilyrosecooper a hope ur f*ckin happy ya coke head b*stard ?harrysnotaracist??."

Lily recently confirmed to the press that she is pregnant with her second child. She performed onstage with Professor Green at The Stone Roses' Heaton Park show and has said that she was surprised nobody guessed then that she was pregnant.
