The U.S rapper was giving a frank explanation of his thoughts on the city that never sleeps on MTV News, but Senator Smith has taken offence to his tepid words, and has stated his requirement for a full apology. "I take strong exception to the words 'I don't like New York,'" said Mr. Smith. The Democrat called an ad-hoc news conference, especially announce his dismay and make the special request. "If you don't like New York," Mr. Smith said, "you don't have to come to New York. You don't have to sell your products here. And perhaps we won't come to your concerts."
