Lil' Kim Released From Jail

LATEST: Rapper LIL' KIM was released from jail today (03JUL06) after spending 10 months behind bars for perjury.
The Lady Marmalade hitmaker, 31, had been incarcerated in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, since 19 September (05) after she was convicted of lying to a federal grand jury over a 2001 shooting outside a New York radio station.
She says in a statement: "I am thrilled to be coming home. I thank all my fans for all their letters, as well as my family and friends for all their support."
Lil' Kim - real name KIMBERLY JONES - will remain under house arrest for 30 days after being released more than two months early thanks to her good behaviour, according to her lawyer L LONDELL MCMILLAN.
