Rapper LIL BOOSIE is unfazed by his upcoming 10-month stint behind bars - insisting his sentence for drugs and gun possession will only boost his hip-hop career.
The Wipe Me Down star was arrested in 2008 after cops discovered a firearm, marijuana and cigar laced with another narcotic in his vehicle when he was pulled over on a routine traffic stop in Louisiana.
He is expected to receive a 10-month jail sentence when he returns to court on 9 November (09).
But the hitmaker, real name Torrence Hatch, is convinced his criminal record won't affect his chart potential.
He tells AllHipHop.com, "It's just a minor setback.
"I am going to take my year like a real man and come back home and let that boost my career more. It's just crazy how the Louisiana court system works."
