Lil Boosie - Lil Boosie Accused Of Smuggling Drugs Into Prison
Lil Boosie, the American rapper currently serving a prison sentence for his involvement in the murder of a 35-year-old man, has been accused of smuggling drugs into jail for the second time. Boosie has been indicted after trying to get codeine syrup into the infamous Angola State Prison in Louisiana, according to Baton Rouge's The Advocate newspaper.
The rapper, who potentially faces the death penalty for his role in the murder, was charged with similar attempts to smuggle drugs back in May. This time, Boosie allegedly attempted to mix 1 ounce of codeine with a soft drink, but was reported by a confidential source. The new charges mean the rapper is facing another five years in prison. He is currently serving a sentence for first-degree murder after he allegedly paid a 16-year-old boy to kill a man named Terry Boyd, who was subsequently shot through a window in his house. The rapper is also suspected of paying the 16-year-old to murder Christopher 'Nussie' Jackson, who he was feuding with at the time.
Lil Boosie released his last album 'Incarcerated' while he was in prison in 2010. The record sold 29,000 copies in its first week of sales, taking it to No. 13 on the Billboard 200 chart and No.2 on the Rap chart.
