Lightbody Forms Supergroup
SNOW PATROL frontman GARY LIGHTBODY has formed a new supergroup with R.E.M. rocker PETER BUCK and BELLE & SEBASTIAN drummer RICHARD COBURN.
The Chasing Cars hitmaker is focusing his efforts on new projects during a Snow Patrol hiatus, and he's moved to Buck's adopted Oregon to work on a new country-themed album.
Lightbody, Buck and Coburn are calling themselves Tired Pony.
And it's not the busy frontman's only side project - he is also working on an electronic dance record, under the name Listen... Tanks!, with producer Jacknife Lee.
