Liam Gallagher Personally Inspects All Pretty Green Designs

Liam Gallagher personally inspects all Pretty Green designs and ''bins'' any which are not ''cool''.

The singer and fashion retailer isn't behind the designs of all his clothes, but he tests each and every product rigorously.

He explained to The Daily Telegraph newspaper: ''If it isn't cool it gets binned.

''I know people might buy it anyway and not everyone's me, but that's how it is: you've got to look at every detail, otherwise you'll end up selling s**t.''

The brand has 11 stores in the UK, and has also recently opened in Tokyo, Japan, and Liam is planning to take it even further.

He added: ''We've got something going on in Copenhagen.''

Liam said his move to fashion was inspired by the fact he doesn't think anyone knows what they are doing in the music industry.

He explained: ''I don't want to get caught up in [fashion]. I'm not hostile, but 90 per cent of the music business is run by idiots and I'll guess it's the same for fashion, know what I mean?''

He also thinks he's more clued up than most fashion brand owners because of how much money he spends on his clothes.

He said: ''I haven't got a favourite brand, I haven't got a favourite designer. I like what I like. I spend a lot of money on clothes so I know my s**t.

''In fact, I probably spend more on clothes than 90 per cent of these fashion people because they get it all for nothing.''
