Jason Lewis - Lewis Returns To Small Screen

Former SEX AND THE CITY TV star JASON LEWIS is plotting a small screen comeback - as the lead of new U.S. crime-drama RIO!

Lewis fast became a Hollywood heartthrob as actress Kim Cattrall's love interest on the steamy series-turned-franchise film, about life in New York City.

Now the 38-year-old actor will navigate Brazil's Rio de Janeiro as he leads the cast in the upcoming TV pilot.

Lewis will play an international detective who travels to South America to investigate a crime, and decides to stay after he falls in love with the city's music, beaches and nightlife.

Production is schedule to kick off next month (Dec09) in Rio, reports the New York Post.
