Leona Lewis wants to work with Black Eyed Peas producer Will.i.am on her new album.
The English 'Happy' singer is presently working on tracks for her third record, and is keen to get input from will.i.am - who has previously been behind hits for Cheryl Cole, Usher and had worked with Michael Jackson before his untimely death last year.
Leona told the Daily Star newspaper: "I'd like to work with will.i.am, he's very talented. I'm still in the early stages of my new record, so I'm having fun with the new sounds."
'Bleeding Love' singer Leona taking a new direction on her next album, and she is thought to be heading in more of a dance music direction, having previously revealed she has worked on a track with French DJ and producer David Guetta. David has produced hits with Akon, Kelly Rowland and has worked with will.i.am himself, notably on Black Eyed Peas huge hit 'I Gotta Feeling'.
Meanwhile will.i.am has explained how his aim as a producer is to take listeners on a musical journey from the 80s to the present day, something he has tried to achieve on the new Black Eyed Peas album 'The Beginning'.
He said: "The 80s was unique. It launched humanity into hyper mode. From then to now we've transcended to a totally different culture.
"Now we have high definition, 3D animation, whereas the beginning was Tetris and Space Invaders. That's what we're doing with our record - we're connecting the pixels."news_bang_old 30992 2711316 Leona Lewis, Akon, Black Eyed Peas, Cheryl Tweedy, David Guetta, Journey, Kelly Rowland, Michael Jackson, Usher
Leona Lewis has been attacked by an "evil cat".
The 'Bleeding Love' hitmaker was left terrified when the feline jumped on her leg and started viciously scratching her.
The animal then refused to let go and dug its claws in deeper when the frightened singer tried to shake it off.
Leona, 25, said: "A cat jumped on me the other week.
"They scare me. It hissed and scratched my legs - I didn't know what to do!"
She added to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "So I got up and shook my leg, but she was stuck to it. It was an evil cat. I don't like evil cats."
Despite the incident, the pop star is known to be a huge animal lover.
She is a public supporter of PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) and a vegetarian.
Leona also refuses to wear suede, leather or any other animal products and is a committed campaigner for several animal charities and devotes a lot of her time and energy to the WSPA - World Society for the Protection of Animals - because they "campaign to change laws to stop the cruel treatment of animals".news_bang_old 30992 2711348 Leona Lewis, Suede
Daniel Radcliffe is Britain's youngest rich star
Daniel Radcliffe has been named as the richest British celebrity under the age of 30, with two of his 'Harry Potter' co-stars also making the top five.
Daniel Radcliffe is the richest British star under 30.
The 'Harry Potter' actor has made an estimated £45.6 million, £25 million of which comes from the final two films in the series 'The Deathly Hallows', alone, almost £15 million more than the second-placed star, 25-year-old Keira Knightley, who has made a fortune of £30.1 million so far.
Four of the top five money-makers in the list compiled by heat magazine come from the wizard movie series made famous by Daniel, with Emma Watson and Rupert Grint making £20.6 million and £19 million respectively.
'Twilight: Saga' actor Robert Pattinson - who appeared in 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire' - was placed fifth, having earned £18.5 million so far.
Britain's highest earning music star is 'Bleeding Love' singer Leona Lewis, who has generated a £12.5 million fortune since winning 'The X Factor' in 2006, placing her in sixth place.
Heat editor Sam Delaney said the list proved not all rich people are "corrupt, cigar-chomping fat cats".
He said: "In these tight financial times, there's a great deal of animosity felt towards society's richest. But who could possibly resent the millions earned by a charming young rascal like Daniel Radcliffe?
"The heat rich list is proof that not all mega-rich people are corrupt, cigar-chomping fat cats. This list is full of young people who have largely made their cash out of putting smiles on other people's faces"
Other notable inclusions on the list include Sienna Miller at 17, who at £6.1 million has earned less than Arctic Monkeys' singer Alex Turner, who has amassed an estimated fortune of £7.5 million.
'X Factor' judge Cheryl Cole has earned £7.9 million, putting her ahead of all her Girls Aloud bandmates.

The Bleeding Love hitmaker has recently moved in to the Pussycat Dolls star's Los Angeles neighbourhood - and Scherzinger can't wait to become acquainted with her.
Pointing to a picture of Lewis, she tells Britain's The Xtra Factor host Konnie Huq, "'There's Leona, there's my neighbour!' She's just moved in and I haven't been home much. She's literally just moved in next door, I'm going to borrow sugar from her."

Vivienne Westwood rarely washes her clothes.
The eccentric designer refuses to clean her outfits even if she's worn them a few times as she thinks it's extremely bad for the environment.
She said: "I was on the bus on Saturday going down Whitehall. I just looked at everybody and there wasn't one person who had a silhouette or stood out. They all looked like babies who had come out from a big washing machine - all easy-care jerseys and tights," she explains with quiet exasperation.
"It is one of the worst things for the environment, all that washing. It has a huge impact. I don't wash my own clothes very often."
Vivienne - whose designs have been worn by the likes of Sarah Jessica Parker, Leona Lewis and Victoria Beckham - recently recommended people only buy clothes every six months as it teaches them to purchase quality pieces as well as being able mend damaged outfits.
Speaking about her idea, Vivienne told The Sun newspaper: "I just told people for at least six months don't buy any clothes. Try it for a bit.
"I think it is a good thing to buy less and choose well - it's good for the environment and to be fair it's also good for me because my clothes are quite expensive. It is this idea of everything being disposable that I don't like.
"When I was a little girl you used to learn to sew all the holes in things, darning socks, but nobody mends clothes any more. Take nylon tights and stockings - if you get a little hole in that you get a ladder, but you can put a bit of nail varnish on it to stop it. Leona Lewis is planning to move in with her new boyfriend.
The 'Bleeding Love' hitmaker - who split from Lou Al-Chamaa earlier this year after a 10-year relationship - is reportedly hoping to settle down in Los Angeles with dancer Dennis Jauch early next year.
A source told Britain's more! magazine: "Dennis has met some of Leona's closest American friends and so far so good.
"The next step is moving in together in the new year. They're such a great couple and he's really into her."
While Leona - who has been dating Dennis since August - is moving on with her relationship, it seems that Lou is still upset about their split.
He recently took to twitter to make an apparent dig at German Dennis, slamming his sense of style.
He posted: "Certain European guys have no style and awful dress sense. hahahahaha
"U can teach someone to dance. but you can't teach style. (Sic)"
The former electrician also hinted Leona had cheated on him.
He wrote: "Five months now and I still don't have my things. I've had enough.

British charity Cancer Research UK launched its annual Little Star Awards earlier this month (Nov10), to give special recognition to under-18s who have bravely fought the killer disease.
And several stars have thrown their support behind the campaign, insisting it's essential to raise awareness of research and improve survival rates.
Umbrella hitmaker Rihanna says, "The children that the Little Star awards celebrate really are special. They've been through so much at such a young age and the way they cope with it is a real inspiration to me. I'm so honoured to be able to support this campaign. I know that incredible advances have been made in treatments for children's cancer, but we still need to do more to raise awareness and improve survival even more."
The Jonas Brothers say, "We are delighted to be supporting Cancer Research UK's Little Star Awards. It's so important to recognise the bravery of children who have been diagnosed with cancer - every one of them is a hero to us."
And Bleeding Love singer Lewis adds, "I am delighted to be helping to celebrate the courage of children with cancer by backing Cancer Research UK's Little Star Awards. More children than ever before are surviving cancer thanks to research and I believe the awards are a great way of raising awareness and highlighting the progress that is being made."

Hurts and Leona Lewis both want to collaborate.
The British pop duo think they would be a good match to work with the 'Better In Time' singer because they both have a "sad" quality to their songs, and Leona said recently she is "totally in love" with the band.
Singer Theo Hutchcraft told X Magazine: "Wow! I only heard about this today. It's amazing. We always talked about it actually. She's amazing. 'Bleeding Love' is one of the best pop songs of the last ten - no 15 years. It's such a compliment.
"One thing that's powerful in her voice is sadness and what we do well is sad pop music. When we first started making music, we'd dream of writing songs and giving them to somebody to work their magic with them. She seems like the perfect person for that."
Theo also said he thinks Leona is an "incredibly beautiful woman" and that he would like to do a duet with her.

The Bleeding Love hitmaker is a dedicated animal rights campaigner, and even banned meat from her recent tour.
And Lewis admits she was stunned when she saw Lady Gaga walk the red carpet at the MTV Video Music Awards last month (Sep10) in a gown made entirely of slabs of beef.
She tells X magazine, "It was gross! I don't even like walking past a meat counter - so it's not my sort of dress. And I won't have meat all over my body."
Gaga has defended her decision to wear the controversial outfit, insisting she didn't mean any "disrespect to anyone that is vegan or vegetarian".

Cowell's talent shows have produced a number of successful recording artists in recent years, including LEONA LEWIS and ALEXANDRA BURKE, but Tunstall says she would never have tried out for one of the shows, stating, "Personally, I'd rather have stayed on the dole (welfare) than audition for a show like that". However, the singer admits that she would appear as a guest star on the X-Factor because of the audience it reaches, saying, "I would perform on it because I want millions of people to hear my music. It's something I have thought long and hard about".
Tunstall released her multi-platinum selling debut album, entitled, 'Eye to the Telescope' in 2004, before releasing the follow-up 'Drastic Fantastic' in 2007. Her third studio album, 'Tiger Suit', hits US shelves today (5th October 2010).

The Italian style stalwart welcomed guests including Heidi Klum, Leona Lewis and Taylor Swift to the front row of the show, which was held in a glass tent.
The celebrities saw a collection heavy on tight trousers, snakeskin, and a palette of pale pink, brown and light blue, with all the models styled with long, straight hair and dark eyes.
Other designers to hit the catwalk for the final day included Giorgio Armani, who made a collection entirely out of blue and black and Canadian designers DSquared2, who put on a light and airy spring/summer 2011 collection with boyish-cut shirts, hats and short skirts.

Labrinth denies music mogul Simon Cowell, his uncle, has paved his way to fame.
The 'Let The Sunshine In' singer is signed to 'The X Factor' boss Simons' record label, Syco, but insists he hasn't had any preferential treatment in the music business while carving out his own name for himself.
21-year-old Labrinth - who produced and guest starred in Tinie Tempah's UK number one singles 'Pass Out' and 'Frisky', which were released on the EMI record label - exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "People would close the door in a second if I wasn't delivering the music.
"Labels don't give me more attention, artists don't; give me more.
"In fact to some degree it could affect my name and the way people look at me as well, because some people don't believe in what Simon Cowell does.
"I've already done what I needed to do on my own, and Syco has extended their hand, and allowed me to branch out a little further than I otherwise could."
The singer, multi instrumentalist and producer also said he thinks Simon - who has been behind the rise of singers including Alexandra Burke and Leona Lewis, after they won his reality TV shows - sees some of his own talent spotting skills in his young relative.
Labrinth, real name Timothy McKenzie, added: "Simon has taken me on because he's seen I can get my music out and can make things happen in the business.
âMore than just myself I can create artists, so I think he sees that in me and thatâs why heâs given me my own imprint in Syco. And I think he believes I can make it without him as well.â

Simon Cowell is planning to launch a film company.
The music mogul is in the early stage of creating a production company to work on blockbuster hits with a similar feel to 'StreetDance 3D', using the stars already signed on to his payroll.
A source said: "Simon has the Midas touch. This is great for British film. We have our fingers crossed."
'StreetDance 3D' - which starred Charlotte Rampling, Jeremy Sheffield and dance troupe Flawless - made £12 million on its release earlier this year.
The insider added to the Daily Star newspaper: "Simon didn't have anything to do with that film but it was an eye-opener for him."
The 50-year-old businessman - who owns music publishing house Syco, which has Leona Lewis, Alexandra Burke and Joe McElderry on its books - has worked as a producer and writer on various TV projects in the past, including British singing competition 'The X Factor' and 'America's Got Talent'.
He is currently working on a US version of 'The X Factor' after quitting 'American Idol' as a judge earlier this year.

Tinie Tempah leads the MOBO Awards with four nominations, it was announced last night (08.09.10).
The 'Pass Out' rapper - who only released his debut single in February this year - is nominated for Best Newcomer, Best UK Act, Best Song and Best Video at the awards, which will be held in Liverpool, Northern England, on October 20.
When congratulated on his nominations, Tinie told BANG Showbiz: "Thank you, thank you very much. It's going to be hot."

Speaking at the event, N-Dubz singer Tulisa - who previously scooped the prize with the group for Best Newcomer in 2007 - said: "I remember when we first started, looking at the MOBO Awards on the TV and thinking 'oh my god, how would it feel to win one of those?'
"When we finally did it was one of the most amazing feelings."
Her bandmate, rapper Fazer, added the award helped them get through a difficult period, as it shortly after the loss of their mentor Byron Contostavlos, who passed away just months before.
Other artists to receive nominations last night include Alexandra Burke, M.I.A and Leona Lewis who all in the Best UK act category, while Black Eyed Peas, Jason Derulo, Rihanna, Alicia Keys and Jay-Z were all nominated in the Best International Act section.

Leona Lewis rarely spoke to her support act on tour.
The 'Bleeding Love' hitmaker was joined at 20 of her 'Labyrinth' shows by 'Defender' singer Gabriella Cilmi, and while the teenage star was excited to be on the road with Leona, she admits they had very little contact.
Gabriella exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "It was very fun, but I didn't really see Leona that much, although she did give me a little letter before we started the tour, saying, 'It was a pleasure to share a stage with you.'
"I met her. well, I bumped into her a couple of times but she had so much press and promotional stuff to do.
"But it was cool because I got to play four nights at The O2 Arena in London, and there were massive crowds which were pretty much full when I was on stage. So that was pretty cool."
While Gabriella, 18, insists she admires Leona - who is a strict vegetarian - she doesn't share her tastes in catering.
Gabriella - who has opened nominations for the vinspired National Awards to celebrate and recognise young volunteers for the inspirational work they do - added: "The Leona tour was great, but the only problem was the catering - they only had vegetarian food, whereas I like to eat meat. Leona Lewis disrupted a London stage show during a night out with friends.
The 'Bleeding Love' singer - who was reportedly drinking alcohol with pals - had been watching the 'Burn The Floor' musical at the Shaftesbury Theatre, when she amazed theatregoers during a break in the performance when she started re-enacting saucy dance moves from the show and shouting about how she had a crush on one of the show's female dancers.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "It was hilarious. The rowdy group brought plenty of attention to themselves by re-enacting the sexy lifts and moves from the show during the interval.
"Leona seemed very impressed with Venezuelan dancer Karen Hauer. She kept shouting out: 'She's so hot!' "
The 25-year-old beauty recently split from her boyfriend of 10 years, Lou Al-Chamaa, but has since been flooded with male attention.
She was spotted swapping numbers with The Wanted singer Max George, and went on a date with a mystery man to a zoo in Germany.
However, Leona's new party-girl persona has come as a surprise, as the pop star has previously blasted people who drink alcohol to have fun as having a "stupid mindset".
She previously said: "I find some people's attitude to drinking ridiculous. I think it's so funny that people think you have to drink in order to have fun. It's such a stupid mindset! A lot of my friends are like, 'I need a drink to get on the dance floor!' I don't need that 'help me to relax' thing. Leona Lewis has swapped phone numbers with a hunky new boy band star.
The 'Bleeding Love' hitmaker - who recently split from her boyfriend of 10 years Lou Al-Chamaa - met The Wanted singer Max George while out partying with friends at exclusive London nightclub Whisky Mist on Sunday night (01.08.10).
Max, 21, and his bandmates were out celebrating reaching number one in the UK singles chart with their debut track 'All Time Low'.
A source told Britain's Metro newspaper: "Leona was really letting her hair down. She got chatting to Max at the bar."
Leona, 25, and the band then partied together until 3am, and at the end of the night she and Max were seen together exchanging numbers.
An onlooker told the Daily Express newspaper: "They all partied away until 3am and then he asked for her number.
"Leona's certainly not going to be short of options when she's ready to date again."
Since separating from Lou, Leona has been seen out partying on several occasions and was spotted last week enjoying a day at the zoo with German dancer Dennis Jauch, 22.news_bang_old 30992 2715125 Leona Lewis
Katie Price fears she will be attacked by a fan.
The British star feels increasingly vulnerable when making public appearances and has stopped being as accessible to her admirers.
Speaking at the signing of her new novel 'Paradise' at a HMV store in London yesterday (28.07.10), she said: "I always used to do pictures for fans in front of the signing table but I don't do that any more. I have changed everything. I feel safer sitting behind the table now.
"It ruins it because it now means you can't do pictures with the fans. But you never know if they've got a knife or something. I don't want to get hurt. I've got the best security, I just have to be more careful these days."
In the past two weeks, Katie was booed by the crowd when she performed her single 'Free To Love Again' at a nightclub in Southend, Essex, and was also jeered when she accompanied husband Alex Reid to a cage fight in Portsmouth.
Katie fears she could suffer the same fate as 'Bleeding Love' singer Leona Lewis, who was attacked by a fan last year while promoting her autobiography 'Dreams'.

Leona Lewis went on a date with a mystery man at a zoo in Germany.
The 'Bleeding Love' singer - who split from her boyfriend of 10 years Lou Al-Chamaa last month - was spotted feeding the world's largest rodent, a capybara, during a romantic day out with the dark-haired hunk at the Tierpark Hagenbeck zoo in Stellingen.
A source said: "Leona and her new friend looked like they were having a great time at the zoo. They seemed very relaxed together and couldn't stop smiling as they wondered around looking at different animals - the perfect date for an animal lover like Leona."
The pop star looked keen to impress the muscular hunk, as she wore a navy summer dress, wedge heels and aviator sunglasses.
Leona - who rose to fame after winning Simon Cowell's pop star search show 'The X Factor' - is known for her love of animals and has thrown herself into charity work to help her get over her split from Lou.
Two weeks ago the beauty distracted herself with a weekend away at a bear sanctuary in Romania on behalf of the World Society for the Protection of Animals after finishing her first UK tour dates.
She tweeted: "Heading back after my trip to the bear sanctuary! Its sooo amazing, the bears are magnificent. After a life of abuse they r finally happy! X (sic)."
However, Leona's mystery date is not the only thing keeping her mind off her heartache at the moment.

"She'd been with him for 10 years. This was the love of her life. The last thing she wanted was to be on the road away from a support network of friends and family. She wasn't up for it emotionally."
But the star is channelling her emotions into recording new material in the studio: "She's full of ideas. She's got a new lease of life in songwriting. She's putting her heartbreak into her music."

Leona Lewis has ruled out reconciliation with ex-boyfriend Lou Al-Chamaa.
The 'Bleeding Love' hitmaker - who recently ended her 15-year relationship with her childhood sweetheart - is said to have been devastated by reports that her long-time love has been attempting to woo British actress Roxanne Pallett.
A friend of the singer said: "Her and Lou were planning to go away and talk. She was hoping for a reconciliation. But not anymore."
According to the pal, the pair, both 25, drifted apart after Lou - a former electrician - landed a job as a scout for Sony music.
The friend continued to The Sun newspaper: "I think he began to feel he was in music and didn't need Leona anymore."
It was revealed last week that Lou had been bombarding Roxanne - best known for her role in UK TV soap opera 'Emmerdale' - with flowers at the Grand Theatre in Leeds, North England, where she is currently performing in a production of 'Rock Around The Clock'.
A source said: "Last week big bunches of roses arrived for Roxanne with the name Lou on them.
"Everyone was very curious about who they were from.
"She eventually admitted they were from Leona's ex. He's really been pursuing her. He's been texting as well and wants to try to arrange a date.
"Roxanne said she met him in Los Angeles earlier this year and gave him her number.
"She seems very flattered by the attention. Who knows what will happen?"news_bang_old 30992 2715639 Leona Lewis, Roxanne Pallett
Leona Lewis has thrown herself into animal charity work to get over her split from her boyfriend.
The 'Bleeding Love' singer spent the weekend at a bear sanctuary in Romania for the World Society for the Protection of Animals after completing her debut UK tour in a bid to try and take her mind off her childhood sweetheart Lou Al-Chamaa.
She told The Sun newspaper: "It's amazing. The bears are magnificent. After a life of abuse they are finally happy."
Leona and Lou - a former trainee electrician who was handed a job with record label Sony BMG as a talent scout after Leona became famous - announced the end of their 10-year relationship last month.
While the split was said to be amicable and blamed on their busy work schedules, it has since turned nasty with Lou demanding a £1.5 million payout for helping her become famous.
Lou claims to have filled in the form for her to audition for UK TV talent show 'The X Factor', which she went on to win, making her a global superstar who is worth millions.
A friend of Lou's said: "He believes he has played a huge role in Leona's success. They have been together for more than 10 years and he has encouraged her to fulfil her potential. He believes he has the rights of a common-law husband."news_bang_old 30992 2715871 Leona Lewis, Bmg, The X Factor
The Bleeding Love hitmaker and animal lover recently wrapped up her European tour and chose to dedicate the last two days of her trip to spending time with the abused grizzlies, which were saved from a life of torture as tourist attractions.
And the animal lover, who is a staunch vegetarian, is full of praise for WSPA officials for providing such good care.
She says, "When I heard about the kind of lives that captive bears suffer around the world, I was shocked. After what they've been through, they can't be released back into the wild. So I asked WSPA if I could visit one of their bear sanctuaries to see for myself how the bears are cared for after they've been rescued."
Taking to her Twitter.com page after her visit to the animal sanctuary, Lewis wrote, "Heading back after my trip to the bear sanctuary! Its (sic) sooo amazing, the bears are magnificent. After a life of abuse they r finally happy!"

The Bleeding Love singer, who shot to fame after winning Simon Cowell's U.K. talent show The X Factor, allegedly broke up with her childhood sweetheart Lou Al-Chamaa after struggling to juggle their romance with her hectic work schedule.
The pair has known each other since they were 10 years old and dated for more than a decade.
And according to Britain's The Sun, Al-Chamma wants a huge settlement for aiding the singer's rise to superstardom.
The publication reports that despite Lewis offering him their $900,000 (£600,000) London home, he also wants a chunk of her fortune.
A source tells the newspaper, "He believes he has played a huge role in Leona's success. They have been together for more than ten years and he has encouraged her to fulfil her potential. He believes he has the rights of a common-law husband.
"He even filled in her X Factor application form and believes he then played a huge role in her success... He claims he owns a piece of some of her songs and should benefit financially.
"She has offered him their house in Hackney but he insists that is not enough. It looks like it could get messy."

Leona Lewis and Lou Al-Chamaa reportedly had a "trial separation" before ending their relationship for good.
The 'Bleeding Love' hitmaker split from her long-term boyfriend last month, but pals admits the couple had been on the rocks for some time.
A source said: "This has been coming for over a year now, but Leona fought tooth and nail to keep things together. She and Lou actually went through a trial separation to see if that helped, but all it did was prove they are living separate lives. It will have been absolutely devastating for her to accept it was over."
One possibility the couple explored to save their ailing relationship was for Lou to quit his job in London to be with the singer in America.
The source explained to Look magazine: "Leona and Lou really wanted to make things work. They talked about him moving out to California but his life is in London and he's a home-loving guy. Leona is a global figure which means being in America for a lot of the time, and he wasn't interested in that type of life."
Leona's friend and mentor Simon Cowell is said to be worried about the star following her love split.
The insider said: "Simon realised very quickly that Leona was a sensitive girl who needed a reassuring arm around her shoulders. No wonder her team are getting worried about who will turn up in Lou's place. They were all big fans of Lou, because he was a stabilizing person in her hectic life."news_bang_old 30992 2716147 Leona Lewis, Simon Cowell
