Leona Lewis - Leona Lewis To Replace Kelly Rowland On The X Factor?

The 'Bleeding Love' star is reportedly filling in again this afternoon (May 29, 2012), for the London auditions. Rita Ora is also filling in this morning, but has to vacate the judge's chair at midday so that she can go and prepare for her support slot in Coventry for the Coldplay concert. Leona must have impressed the show's producers during her stint last Saturday (May 27, 2012) to get asked back for another shift and she seems to have overtaken Geri Halliwell as the most likely candidate for the role. Former Spice Girls singer Geri had previously been the favourite to take on the role and went to rather extreme lengths to make sure that she got herself noticed when she attended the Liverpool auditions as a temporary replacement for Kelly Rowland.

When Geri arrived at the auditions, she clambered on top of a car roof and addressed the gathered fans with a loud speaker. Rita and Leona, on the other hand, took a more low-key approach to getting themselves a slice of the pie, preferring to pose quietly for photos before the show starts. It has been suggested that Geri lacks the "chemistry" required for the show. Or perhaps the producers have realised that she'll be a bit of a handful, after all.
