Leona Lewis Takes Part In Animal Charity Walk
22 October 2012Singer LEONA LEWIS showed off her caring side on Sunday (21Oct12) as she took part in a charity walk for an animal sanctuary.
The Bleeding Love hitmaker, a keen animal rights campaigner, braved the chilly weather to trek five miles (eight kilometres) for the fundraiser in aid of the Hopefield Animal Sanctuary in Essex, south-east England.
She was joined by members of the local community and well-wishers, who each donated $8 (£5) to take part in the event, and she even took along her own dog Lily.
Lewis is a long-time patron of the non-profit organisation, which takes in needy animals including pigs, horses and ponies.
