Leona Lewis Denies Adele Duet At Olympics Opening Ceremony
Having just opened Bbc Radio 1's Hackney Weekend festival on the main stage, Lewis waved away talk of her Adele duet revealing to the Daily Star, "I heard about that but unfortunately it's not true. I'm not performing there, with or without Adele". A disappointing truth for many, particularly those of the 50,000 who enjoyed her Hackney set. Lewis, however, did not deny her own regret that she wasn't making the Olympics ceremony. "I would obviously love to", she said. "She's incredible"
Lewis is set to release her third studio album 'Glassheart' this year after a three year long wait since her second, 'Echo'. Describing the album that is to include the Emeli Sande penned 'Trouble', she told the Star: "It has taken so long because I want it to be a classic. All the songs are strong. There will be no fillers.I'm so proud of it. It has a dark edge and even has a bit of dubstep in it. I just want my fans to hear it now"
