Lefevre's $1,000 Charity Twitter Challenge

The 30 year old offered to hand over the cash to the Red Cross, which helps supply relief to millions of people worldwide, in exchange for fans joining up to her personal page on the microblogging website.

In a series of posts on Twitter, she writes, "Think it's time 4 another charity challenge! This twitter charity challenge will benefit The Red Cross who help bring life saving basics 2 ppl (people) all over the world.

"The challenge - My part: For every 500 new followers I'll donate $100 to Red Cross, up to $1000. Your part: Give blood. Donating blood is fast, free, & saves lives. Give 2 Red Cross or your local org!"
