Leeming Leaves The Jungle
Despite being within a day's grasp of reaching the grand final, Jan Leeming has been voted out of I'm A CelebrityGet Me Out of Here!
After presenters Ant and Dec informed the former BBC newsreader that she had lost out on the public vote to Matt Willis, Leeming said that she was ready to go and described her time in the Australian outback as a "life-changing experience".
No Doubt her willingness to leave might have something to do with the dirt and Bush tucker trials that she has had to put up with during her time in the jungle, as she said: "I've never had such dirty nails in my life, I want to get into a bath, I want my fruit, I want my vegetables, and I want to cuddle a koala."
On her fellow contestants she added: "I will miss them. I proved something to myself, to everybody else and it's time to go time.
"I've said all along that I wanted one of the younger ones to win it because it could do good for their career and both David [Gest] and I have said we don't need that."
One more celebrity will be voted off tonight before tomorrow's final, with Myleene Klass, Dean Gaffney, David Gest, Matt Willis and Jason Donovan still in the running.
