British singer Lee Brennan has opened up about the breakdown of his marriage to pop star Lindsay Armaou, insisting he would get back together with his ex if she suggested a reconciliation.
The two stars met in 1998 when Armaou's girl group B*Witched supported Brennan's band 911 on tour, and they went on to wed in 2006.
The pair split just over a year ago, but Brennan admits he would jump at the chance to reconcile.
Brennan spoke about the relationship on Thursday's (07Feb13) episode of U.K. Tv show The Big Reunion, which documents the two bands, among other U.K. acts, forging a comeback, and appeared upset as he detailed the split.
He says, "It was fun getting to know each other... we got engaged, we had an amazing fairytale wedding - that whole day was just the best day ever.
"So from meeting in 1998, 13 years together is a long, long time and we just mutually decided to separate a year ago and it was so hard for both of us but it just had to be done.
"I still find it tough that we're not together. I mean, I guess if she rang tomorrow and said, 'How do you fancy us getting back together again?', I would. She's my wife, I love her. But reality says it's probably not going to happen."
