Lee Angered By Obama's Relaxed Oil Slick Attitude

Director Spike Lee has taken aim at U.S. President Barack Obama for refusing to lose his temper over the oil slick crisis in the Gulf of Mexico.

Government officials have been working with scientists and experts in an effort to find a solution to plug the hole in the exploded Deepwater Horizon Rig, which has been declared the worst oil disaster in American history.

But the Malcolm X filmmaker is disappointed by Obama's relaxed attitude to the massive spill, despite the mounting pressure on him to fix the chaos.

During an appearance on CNN on Wednesday (02Jun10), Lee raged, "One time, go off! If there's any one time to go off, this is it, because this is a disaster."

To Spike Lee: I believe if something is not done quickly to the gulf, the riples affects will be world changing. Losing hundreds of peoples way of life, and income and the loans they took out to recover from Katrina. Lousiana and surrounding states will go bankrupt and pleading for goverment help. And the list will go on and on. It must be stopped now, the oil coming out of the pipe. The spill must be contained now before we lose a food soars. The spill must be stopped now before people loss their water soarses. It must be stopped now because of states realing on tourism dollars and I mean millions if not billions lost. Like Spike Lee said why are we realining on the people and companies who got us to the point. You want to see the stock market crash, the gulf crisis could start the next depression. The one United State will have to ask for economic and more help. Stop the spill now!
