The Event was amazing / the informed appreciative audience created a party atmosphere and it was a privilege to be there. However there was one obvious flaw in the organisation. This was London not New York. I like hundreds of others that had to get public transport home were forced to stream out of the O2 arena only 25 minutes into Carrie Underwood’s performance* to avoid missing the last reasonable train out of the Capital. If this event is repeated and I sincerely hope it is then please start an hour earlier and gives a fair chance to catch the entire programme. No reflection on Carrie’s performance that we left early.
