LeAnn Rimes broke down in tears as she defended her affair yesterday (01.11.10).
The country music star - who left her now former husband Dean Sheremet in July 2009 after falling in love with her 'Northern Lights' co-star Eddie Cibrian - was questioned by 'All Access Nashville' host Robin Roberts about her relationship.
In a preview of the show, which is set to be aired on November 10, she says: "You're going to make me cry."
However, Eddie - who was still married to his wife Brandi Glanville, the mother of his two children, when he met LeAnn - explained he knew the 28-year-old singer was "the one" when they met on the set of 'Northern Lights' in Canada.
He revealed: "We played catch right away and I knew she was the one because she almost tore my hand off."
LeAnn recently admitted while her actions were selfish, she needed to put herself first if she wanted to be happy in life.
She said: "I feel like I'm just now finding myself. I've always been one of those people who takes care of everyone else-and their needs-first. This past year, for the first time ever, I put me first.
"I'm sure some people are thinking that I was totally selfish, but the truth is, there are times in your life when you have to be selfish in order to find out what truly makes you happy."
