Leaked Jackson Autopsy Information Dismissed By Coroner
The coroner who examined MICHAEL JACKSON's body has dismissed a leaked autopsy report, insisting it is "not accurate".
British tabloids revealed details allegedly taken from an autopsy report conducted after the King of Pop's tragic death on Thursday (25Jun09), after suffering a cardiac arrest.
One report indicates four puncture sites were found on the 50 year old's chest - appearing to be a result of attempts to restart his heart with shots of adrenaline. The star's hips, thighs and shoulders were also reportedly riddled with needle wounds.
The alleged autopsy document also suggested that Jackson weighed just 50 kilograms when he died and was also discovered to be balding.
But a statement from the Los Angeles County Coroner's office insists, "The report that is being published did not come from this office. I don't know where the information came from, or who that information came from. It is not accurate. Some of it is totally false."
A second autopsy on Jackson is currently being carried out, at the request of the late star's family.
