Lawsuit Against Dmx Dropped
Bosses at Heavy Rotation launched a legal battle against the Get It on the Floor hitmaker in March (12) over claims they struck a deal to arrange a slew of comeback gigs for the hip-hop star last year (11) but no shows came to fruition due to Dmx's legal woes, which prevented him from performing overseas.
Executives were originally seeking a minimum of $749,285 (£468,303) in damages to recoup funds lost in the ill-fated deal - but they've now voluntarily withdrawn their complaint and dismissed the suit, reports U.S. website Tmz.com.
Dmx has been in and out of prison in recent years for drug, theft and animal cruelty charges, and was last arrested by police in August (11) after he was caught driving recklessly on a suspended licence.
