Lauper Launches Gay Rights Tour

Pop star CYNDI LAUPER is embarking on a 15-city tour across the US, created to support gay rights. The inaugural True Colors concert tour will kick off Gay + Lesbian Pride Month on 8 June (07) in Las Vegas. Joining the GIRLS JUST WANNA HAVE FUN singer on the road will be former BLONDIE singer DEBBIE HARRY, ERASURE, THE DRESDEN DOLLS, THE GOSSIP, and the MISSHAPES. US comedian MARGARET CHO will host the concerts and special guests on select dates will include RUFUS WAINWRIGHT, ROSIE O'DONNELL and INDIGO GIRLS. Lauper is donating one dollar from every ticket sold to gay advocacy group the Human Rights Campaign.
