Lara Logan - Lara Logan Given Message Of Support From Anderson Cooper

LARA LOGAN, the South African television news journalist who was brutally assaulted by a mob of men in Egypt, has been given a message of support from ANDERSON COOPER.
LARA LOGAN, the CBS news correspondent who was attacked in Tahir Square on 11th February 2011, has been sent a message of support from ANDERSON COOPER, who narrowly escaped injury in the Egyptian capital two weeks ago, reports People Magazine.39-year-old Logan, who has been a wartime reporter for nearly 20 years, was separated from her crew whilst covering the demonstrations in Cairo last week. She was attacked and sexually assaulted by a group of men before being rescued by Egyptian soldiers. Logan was released from hospital yesterday afternoon (15th February 2011) and is now resting at home in Washington DC with her husband and two children. Cooper, a CNN anchor who was reportedly "punched in the head" during his time in Cairo, posted a message on his Twitter page that read, "Sickened and saddened by the attack on Lara Logan. She is in all of our thoughts and prayers". report that Logan is keen to return to work "within weeks", and a source told the website, "She is going to be OK".
