Lane + Wopat To Recreate Hanks + Dicaprio Film On Stage
Nathan Lane and Dukes Of Hazzard star Tom Wopat are taking Tom Hanks and Leonardo Dicaprio's hit movie Catch Me If You Can to the stage.
Tony Award-winner Lane will take on Hanks' Hanratty role in the upcoming musical production, while Wopat will portray Frank Abignale, Sr - who was played by Christopher Walken in the film.
Auditions for a July (07) workshop are currently underway, according to BroadwayWorld.com. The show will open on Broadway in 2008.
The 2002 film, about a young con artist's pursuit by an FBI agent, was based on Frank Abagnale Jr's memoirs. DiCaprio played Frank Jr.
