Lana Del Rey - Lana Del Rey Giving Away Money To Innovative Thinkers
13 February 2013Singer Lana Del Rey is to hand out $100,000 (£62,500) grants to "innovative thinkers" as part of a new technology contest.
The Video Games hitmaker will assign the donations to groups in the U.S. and Europe who come up with impressive ways to advance technology.
Del Rey announced the competition on her Twitter.com page on Wednesday (13Feb13) writing, "Submissions begin next week for our institute of innovative thinkers.
"We're donating $100,000 in America and $100,000 in Europe to 10 groups of people in each territory with innovative ideas aimed at forwarding technology and improving sustainability."
