Lambert & Lady Antebellum Score Six Cma Award Nominations

MIRANDA LAMBERT and LADY ANTEBELLUM have emerged as early contenders for the 2010 CMA Awards, landing six nods a piece in the first wave of nominations.
Lambert scored an impressive five nominations from two songs, The House That Built Me and White Liar. Both are up for single, video and song of the year, The Country Music Association announced on Tuesday (31Aug10).
Meanwhile Lady Antebellum grabbed nominations in four categories, including vocal group of the year. The band's breakthrough hit Need You Now also landed its members, Dave Haywood, Charles Kelley and Hillary Scott, nods for single of the year.
The final nominees will be announced on Wednesday (01Sep10) on U.S. breakfast programme Good Morning America.
The 44th Annual CMAs will broadcast live with from country music capital Nashville, Tennessee on 10 November (10), with co-hosts Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood.
